They rarely call back and when they do they seem confused and had to call the actual cruise line for clarification. Cruise.com never refunded our Insurance, for a cruise which the HAL cruise line cancelled. Several months ago when I was trying to resolve this, Cruise.com does not even answer the phone. And after an hour or two if you successfully wait through the on-hold queue, you are disconnected and never get to speak to a human. To this day, we have HAL, Cruise.com, and an insurance company all pointing fingers and wanting to keep our money for a cruise which THEY canceled, and we never got to go on. This outfit booked me on a cruise with 5 adults in one interior stateroom!

When I received the email confirmation and realized what they had done I went directly to the cruise line website and booked 3 rooms for almost the same price. Now, when I call to get a refund of my deposit, they hang up on me. The booking process was great, but I was told I had a 24 hour hold and then got an email saying I had to book right now, or possibly lose the booking. As I did not get the email until the next day, I could have lost the reservation, but fortunately it was still available when I called the next morning.One more thing, I did not save a dime using this service.

The client called our Customer Service department on March 17th to find out the last day she could cancel her cruise without penalty, but it was 11PM at night and the cruise line was closed. Our customer service agent then advised her that she must make a decision before final payment is due if she wishes to cancel. It seems from the remarks in her booking history that we did answer all of her calls and questions. However, if she still has questions, we urge her to call our great Customer Service team using the number listed on her invoice and any one of them will be happy to assist her with whatever she needs. Cruises offer a great value and are an excellent way to see your favorite destinations around the globe.

How on earth can a company take all of your money and sell your cabins to someone else? I'm exhausted and pissed off to the point that I'm ready to just walk away...not worth getting so upset over the worst vacation ever. I’ve just had a very good cruise with Carnival and a shameful customer experience with Cruises.com. It was so negative that I’m willing to spend my morning reviewing them on every corner of the internet. We chose a cruise after a long exploration with a customer service agent. He was very nice and we reviewed many options, picked one that gave a $200 on board credit for both cabins we booked.
